Job Description

As a Senior Credit Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assess credit requests from all business units
  • Identify risks, and propose optimal financing structures
  • Review and monitor collateral to ensure adequate coverage throughout the life of the credit facility
  • Monitor and perform periodic reviews of existing exposures
  • Assist in preparing loan documentation and liaise with Legal for customized agreements
  • Assist the Head of Credit in all credit-related projects
  • Provide timely and efficient credit support to business units
  • Maintain customer credit files and data

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Credit Officer should have:

  • A degree in Banking, Finance or Economics
  • About 10 years of experience in private or corporate banking sector in Europe
  • At least 5 years of experience in credit department or risk department
  • Ability to balance credit risks with business development
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English, knowledge of French or Spanish would be an asset
  • Team player, problem solving, proactive, open-minded
